Director of Finance and Accounting – Expected Salary: $121,664-$149,290 DOQ

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

The Director of Finance and Accounting develops, organizes, and manages all financial functions, including budgeting, grants and capital projects, accounting, payroll, and financial reporting.

ECCTA’s operations and capital program are funded by federal, state, regional, and local dollars. Under the direction of the CEO, the Director of Finance and Accounting serves as the agency’s fiduciary lead to ensure compliance with the requirements of each funding oversight agency, applicable laws, and the public trust.

The Director of Finance and Accounting is a key member of the Executive Leadership Team and is a strategic advisor to the CEO and the Board of Directors. This is a working leadership role that requires direct engagement in daily approvals, reviews, reconciliations, and deadlines.

Education:

Bachelor’s degree in accounting, economics, business management or similar discipline. Experience may be substituted on a year-for-year basis.

Experience:

Progressively responsible financial management at small to medium sized organizations, with at least part of the experience being with a public or non-profit agency. Experience in making presentations to boards and public bodies desired. Experience in the mass transit industry is desirable.

Knowledge and Skills:

Strong leadership and team management skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities. Proficiency in financial software including QuickBooks, Excel, Outlook, and Word. Ability to motivate and manage a small staff. Deep understanding of financial, fiscal, and budgetary systems. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of GASB standards and provide training or guidance to finance staff as needed. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Ability to work collaboratively across departments in a dynamic environment.

Mechanic – Range $34.91 – $46.32/hour DOE, nights & weekends, generous benefits. Applications being accepted on an ongoing basis. * rate starts 7/1/2026

To maintain Tri Delta Transit vehicles in an efficient, timely and safe manner.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Education
High school diploma or equivalent preferred. ASE Transit, Truck or School Bus Certifications preferred.

Experience
A minimum of one year of recent and verifiable experience as an automotive mechanic or a heavy-duty mechanic. Experience working with zero-emission buses is preferred.

Pre-Employment Testing
Final candidates will be required to pass a Federal Transit Administration pre-employment drug screen and Department of Transportation physical.

Tools
Possession of necessary tools to perform above duties, including approved safety toed shoes to be worn on the job.

License
Must have or be able obtain a Class B license with a “P’ endorsement. On-the-job DMV training will be provided. Applicants will not be considered if they have more than two moving violations and/or accidents on their driving record within the past three years.
