Cal Fresh and Food Program Resources

As an essential service, Tri Delta Transit knows how important other essential services are. Here are some resources that may be of use with the SNAP program.

Food programs in eastern Contra Costa County include pantries and meal programs like Loaves & Fishes and the Antioch Ministerial Fellowship Food Closet, plus produce programs such as the Community Produce Program at St. Ignatius and Templo Santo Community Church. For county-wide assistance, contact the Food Bank of Contra Costa and Solano at  or dial 211.

  • CalFresh: You can apply for food benefits through the Contra Costa County Employment & Human Services (EHSD) office.
  • Food Bank of Contra Costa and Solano: Provides various food programs and can help with CalFresh applications.
  • 211 Helpline: Dialing 211 can provide information and referrals to local food and other assistance programs.
  • School Meals: California schools are required to provide free breakfast and lunch to all students in grades TK-12, regardless of income.
