Bikes on Buses

Bike Racks

All Tri Delta Transit buses (fixed route, express route, and Tri MyRide) are equipped with bicycle racks. Each rack can hold up to two bikes. View the Brochure for Bikes On Buses.

At the driver’s discretion, bikes may be allowed on the bus when the rack is full. If the driver determines that there are too many people on the bus, for safety reasons the driver will not permit bikes on board.

Lost and Found

If a rider leaves their bike on a Tri Delta Transit bus, please visit our Lost and Found page for policies and procedures.

Bike Lockers

Tri Delta Transit has bike lockers available for rent on a first-come-first-served basis at the Brentwood Park and Ride and the Discovery Bay Park and Ride.

Bike lockers are rented for a 12 month period, which is renewable for an additional 12 months at a time.

The renter can extend or terminate the rental agreement via email (comments@eccta.org) and must notify Tri Delta Transit when they want to end use of the locker. There is a $100.00 key deposit that is refunded by check once Tri Delta Transit receives the key back and determines the locker is cleaned out and is in good condition.

Are you a bike enthusiast?

You should participate in Bike to Wherever Day – which happens normally mid May.

Find out information about the event at: https://bikeeastbay.org/bike-to-wherever-day/

Bay Area Bike to Work Day (BTWD) started over 30 years ago in 1994 to celebrate biking as a fun, healthy commute option—and to inspire non-cyclists to give it a try. It was also a chance to advocate for better bike infrastructure and safety across the region.

While every county goes big, the East Bay goes really big! Last year, over 12,100 East Bay riders joined us on Bike to Wherever Day, visiting our 120+ Energizer Stations to grab tote bags, treats and high-fives.

Tri Delta Transit is an energizer station at Antioch BART.
