Route 201X is a peak-only route that operates from the Concord BART Station in Concord to the Pittsburg/Bay Point BART station via Highway 4 and Evora Rd. The primary market is for Mt. Diablo High School Students. Route 201X duplicates BART for longer regional trips and the former Route 389 (renamed Route 374) between Bay Point and the Pittsburg/Bay Point BART station. Ridership during non-school bell trips is low.
Slight changes to the alignment of Route 201X remove the route deviation on Kevin Dr, providing faster, more direct service. The 201X schedule will be reduced to coincide with Mt. Diablo High bell schedules and operate two trips in the morning and two trips in the afternoon.
