September is Transit Month

August 28, 2025

For this year’s Transit Month, San Francisco Transit Riders and Seamless Bay Area are challenging everyone to hop on board to discover new adventures they can access through transit. From everyday commutes to weekend explorations, transit connects us all—and now’s the perfect time to ride. Let’s show our leaders just how vital transit is for our region and why continued funding matters. Whether you’re a loyal County Connection rider or just dipping your toes in with BART, grab your Clipper card and join the celebration! > See the Transit Month calendar of events and contests for riders.

Tri Delta Transit will be at Big Truck Day for our Transit Month event. Happening Thursday, September 18th from 4-8pm at the Antioch Community Center, 4703 Lone Tree Way, this fun event has truck, after truck, after truck to look at, board and sometimes even honk the horns. It’s paired with Food Truck Thursday so it’s a great family event. Take Routes 361, 375 or Tri MyRide Antioch/Oakley zone to come visit our Battery Electric Bus and pick up goodies.
