Fixed Route Magnetic Strip Tickets

24-Hour and Day Passes

Unvalidated (not used) 24-Hour Passes and Day Passes can be exchanged for an equal value of Tri Delta Transit tickets of another type without a receipt. Refunds are available if a valid receipt accompanies the unvalidated pass. All refunds will be issued by check. No cash refunds will be provided under any circumstance.

20-Ride Passes

Unvalidated (not used) and partially used 20-Ride Passes can be exchanged for an equal value of Tri Delta Transit tickets of another type without a receipt. The amount applies only to the purchase price. Refunds are available if the pass is not validated (not used) and a valid receipt accompanies the unvalidated pass(es). All refunds will be issued by check. No cash refunds will be provided under any circumstance.

31-Day Passes

Unvalidated (not used) 31-Day Passes can be exchanged for an equal value of Tri Delta Transit tickets of another type without a receipt. Refunds are available if a valid receipt accompanies the unvalidated pass(es). All refunds will be issued by check. No cash refunds will be provided under any circumstance.

Credit Tickets

Credit tickets are good toward future rides on Tri Delta Transit buses. They can be used on the bus or exchanged for tickets equal to the value of the credit ticket(s). Credit tickets cannot be redeemed for a cash/check.

Fixed Route Punch Passes

Day Passes

Unvalidated (not used) punch style Day Passes dated 2012 and older are not refundable or exchangeable.

20-Ride Passes

Unused and partially used 20-Ride Punch Passes can be exchanged for an equal value of Tri Delta Transit tickets of another type without a receipt. The amount applies only to the purchase price. Refunds are available if the pass is unused and a valid receipt accompanies the unused pass(es). All refunds will be issued by check. No cash refunds will be provided under any circumstance.

Tri Delta Transit Monthly Passes

Unvalidated Monthly Passes or Monthly Passes that have been validated for future months can be exchanged for an equal value of Tri Delta Transit tickets of another type without a receipt. Refunds are available if a valid receipt accompanies the unvalidated Monthly Pass or Monthly Pass validated for future months. All refunds will be issued by check. No cash refunds will be provided under any circumstance. Monthly Passes that have been validated for current or past months are not refundable or exchangeable.

East Bay Value Passes

Unvalidated East Bay Value Passes or East Bay Value Passes that have been validated for future months can be exchanged for an equal value of Tri Delta Transit tickets of another type without a receipt. Refunds are available if a valid Tri Delta Transit receipt accompanies the unvalidated pass or pass validated for future months. All refunds will be issued by check. No cash refunds will be provided under any circumstance. For refund requests, East Bay Value Passes purchased at locations other than Tri Delta Transit must be taken to the selling agency and are subject to the selling agency’s refund policy. East Bay Value Passes that have been validated for current or past months are not refundable or exchangeable.


Paratransit Tickets/Passes


Coupon Books

Unused paratransit tickets, either a partial book or a full book, can be exchanged for an equal value of Tri Delta Transit tickets of another type without a receipt. Partial coupon books with a receipt can be exchanged for an equal value of Tri Delta Transit tickets of another type. Only complete booklets of paratransit tickets are refundable. Refunds are available if a valid receipt accompanies the complete paratransit ticket booklet. All refunds will be issued by check. No cash refunds will be provided under any circumstance.

Punch Passes

Unused and partially used Paratransit Punch Passes can be exchanged for an equal value of Tri Delta Transit tickets of another type without a receipt. Refunds are available if the pass is unused and a valid receipt accompanies the unused pass. All refunds will be issued by check. No cash refunds will be provided under any circumstance.

Note: All tickets submitted for refund or exchange are subject to review by Tri Delta Transit management. Any ticket deemed to be counterfeit or stolen will be confiscated and the requestor denied any of the above privileges.
