There are very few times when paying the full cash fare is the best way to ride the bus. Tri Delta Transit has several money-saving passes to meet every travel pattern. With the right pass you could save more than 50% depending on how much you ride. Getting and using discount passes is easy and they are much more convenient than paying cash.

The attached chart is designed to show you which pass is best for you based on how often you ride the bus. Frequent riders will save the most with our unlimited ride Monthly Pass. However, if you want the flexibility of a pass with no expiration date, check out our multiple ride punch passes.

Unlimited Ride Monthly Pass $40

Will save you a minimum of $15 per month!
The more you ride, the greater your savings will be. Offers the convenience of not needing exact change for a cash fare every time you ride the bus.

4 Unlimited Ride Monthly Pass $40 Will save you a minimum of $3 per month.
The more you ride, the greater your savings will be! Offers the convenience of not needing exact change for a cash fare every time you ride the bus.
3 20 Ride Punch Pass $22 Savings can be more than 50% because you can use this pass to get an unlimited ride Day Pass from the driver. Just have the driver punch two spaces on your punch pass – this is like getting a Day Pass for only $2.20. Once you have a Day Pass you don’t have to pay again. Ride all day as much as you like. The more you ride, the more you save!
2 20 Ride Punch Pass $22 Savings can be more than 50% because you can use this pass to get an unlimited ride Day Pass from the driver. Just have the driver punch two spaces on your punch pass – this is like getting a Day Pass for only $2.20. Once you have a Day Pass you don’t have to pay again. Ride all day as much as you like. The more you ride, the more you save!
1 Day Pass $2.25 Pay once, ride all day! Day Passes cost 25 cents less than cash fare but your savings could be more than 50% if you transfer buses or take multiple rides. This pass provides UNLIMITED rides once you have it.
BART Commuters Commuter Punch Pass $18 If you ride Route 300 to BART, this is the most economical pass for you. A BART transfer slip is needed with this pass when boarding the bus at the BART station. Offers the convenience of not needing exact change for a cash fare every time you ride the bus.
